DO YOU ACCEPT AD-HOC BOOKINGS?

I only accept regular weekly bookings on fixed days. This helps maintain consistency in scheduling and ensures that I can provide the best possible care for all the dogs under my supervision.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR OUTDOOR DOGGY DAYCARE?

All dogs must pass a temperament test and be fully vaccinated, including the kennel cough vaccine, to ensure the safety and well-being of all our furry guests. While intact male puppies are welcome, they mustn't exhibit behaviours like humping or indoor marking.

However, male dogs aged 9 months or older must be neutered. Additionally, female puppies in their first season cannot participate in walks or daycare for 3-5 weeks and must be spayed afterwards. These measures are in place to maintain a safe and harmonious environment for all dogs in my care.

WHY YOU DON’T ACCEPT INTACT DOGS?

I prioritise the safety and well-being of all the dogs in my care. For this reason, I do not accept unspayed females or intact males. This policy helps maintain a harmonious and controlled environment, reducing the risk of conflicts and ensuring a positive experience for all our furry guests. Thank you for understanding.

ARE YOU Insured?

Yes, I am insured. I provide proof of my insurance policy along with the Terms and Conditions documents.

Is WAG & WHISK Open On The Holidays?

Yes, I am open all year round.

WHAT IF MY WALKER/SITTER IS SICK OR CAN’T MAKE A WALK OR HOUSE VISIT?

If I am unexpectedly sick or need to take a vacation (with at least a few weeks' notice), I will try to arrange backup walkers to cover your dog's walk.

ARE YOU AVAILABLE ON LAST-MINUTE NOTICE?

I will strive to accommodate last-minute requests, although availability is not guaranteed.

WHEN CAN I CANCEL A WALK / HOUSE VISIT WITHOUT BEING CHARGED?

Cancellations made 48 hours before the scheduled walk incur no fee. Cancellations within 24 hours may result in a 100% charge of the service rates.

HOW DO YOU TRANSPORT THE DOGS?

I cover a relatively small area, and my preferred mode of transportation is walking. This ensures the dogs get the necessary exercise and allows us to explore the neighbourhood safely together.

DO I HAVE TO BE IN WHEN YOU COLLECT OR DROP OFF MY DOG?

No, you don't have to be in when I collect or drop off your dog. Many of my clients provide me with a key or access instructions, and I'm DBS-checked for your peace of mind.

WHAT ARE THE OUTDOOR DAYCARE ACTIVITIES?

The daycare activities include 3 to 5 hours of outdoor time, including off-leash playtime, training sessions, and on-leash walks.

WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN IT RAINS?

I get wet!  I walk rain or shine.  My clients tell me where I can find a towel on rainy days, and I will dry off your dog as much as I can.

DO YOU GIVE THEM TREATS?

Only with the owner’s consent. I use grain-free, natural and baked treats only.
